Rates & Policies

Listed below, you will find our current rates and policies. If you do not find the information you need, please contact our office and we will provide it for you.


Charges of town services provided by the town:

  1. Cemetery plots- Residents $200.00 per grave plot and nonresidents $500.00 per plot.
  2. Opening and closing grave- $200.00. Marking graves $25.00
  3. Rent Town Hall- $60.00 which includes $35.00 rent and $25.00 deposit which is returned if no damage is done = $60.00
  4. Resource officer- $1.00 month
  5. Garbage- $9.00/month with second can charged at $3.00/month
  6. Food Bank- optional monthly charge .25-$1.00.
  7. Animal control- $2.00/month.
  8. Landfill- $4.00/month
  9. Water- the town owns the facilities and supplies water to the town people. See water section.
  10. If the water meter damaged and will not work then the replacement cost is $250.00.
  11. New water connection fee for meter is $1500 plus 1/4 share of irrigation water.
